METHODOLOGY
Federal income tax uses the 2026 IRS Publication 15-T automated percentage method. Employee Social Security is calculated at 6.2% up to the 2026 wage base, and standard Medicare at 1.45%.
Uses the Arkansas formula method effective January 1, 2026, including the $2,470 standard deduction, the prescribed income midpoint rule below $100,001, bracket adjustments, and the $29 exemption credit.
