Federal income tax uses the 2026 IRS Publication 15-T automated percentage method. Employee Social Security is calculated at 6.2% up to the 2026 wage base, and standard Medicare at 1.45%.
Uses the Massachusetts 5% wage withholding rate, M-4 exemption amount, and the 2026 4% surtax threshold for annualized wages.
