Federal income tax uses the 2026 IRS Publication 15-T automated percentage method. Employee Social Security is calculated at 6.2% up to the 2026 wage base, and standard Medicare at 1.45%.
Uses Hawaii’s current graduated rate schedule on annualized wages. HW-4 allowances and payroll-period rounding can affect employer withholding; the calculator includes allowance and exact-override inputs.
